From 23 to 25 September 2026, the international specialized exhibitions "Radio Electronics and Instrument Engineering" and "IDEUM Expo & AI" (formerly the "Automation" exhibition until 2025) were successfully held in Russia, St. Petersburg at the CEC EXPOFORUM, Pavilion H.

More than 260 companies from Russia, the Republic of Belarus and China took part in the exhibitions, including more than 130 new exhibitors. The exhibition area covered 8,000 sq. m. 15,000 specialists visited the exhibitions.

The organizer of the exhibitions is FAREXPO Exhibition Company.

The joint format of the two exhibitions enabled participants to attract their target audience and adjust their strategies in line with market realities, increase sales volumes, and generate meaningful news for customers and partners.

Business Programme

23 September

A ceremony was held to sign a memorandum of intent between the Marine Technical University and the Lenpoligrafmash company. The document was signed by Denis Kuznetsov, Vice-Rector for Research at SMTU, and Denis Golub, General Director of Lenpoligrafmash OJSC. Under the agreement, the parties plan to develop scientific and methodological cooperation in the field of instrument engineering. The cooperation will be carried out on the basis of the production facilities of Lenpoligrafmash and the Instrument Engineering Technology Centre of SMTU. BAIKAL ELECTRONICS JSC spoke about the technological features and advantages of the BAIKAL-U microcontroller (BE-U1000).

Owen-Automation held seminars: "Russian controllers for automation systems. From local installations to critical applications"; "KIPPRIBOR industrial automation: 2026 product range and new developments"; "OWEN power engineering: new products, capabilities and solutions for industrial automation".

24 September

The Elektrodetal Plant, Elektrosoedinitel, the Atlant Plant, the Elekon Plant, the Karachev Elektrodetal Plant and KOPIR Plant JSC spoke about the application of Russian-made electrical connectors developed as part of import substitution.

PROTON JSC delivered two reports: "Indicators and emitters of Proton JSC" and "Galvanic isolation products. New developments and promising designs".
